i'm an alien
Jan. 22nd, 2008 06:29 pmHee hee
Lucy was over here before and we were ChIlLaXiN'
and she looks over at me and kind of screams a little
and I am like "what"
and she is like "YOUR EYES"
and I am like "shit what" because I figure you know they must be bleeding.
"THEY'RE GREEN"
"yeah they're normally kind of gree-- oh wait are they different? that happens sometimes"
I go look in the mirror and they are basically like Anime Green, like greener than I've ever seen them
my eyes change color. what's your superpower.

Date: 2008-01-23 12:37 am (UTC)I have anisocoria, that's a complicated way of saying that one pupil isn't the same size as the other except I'm not about to have a stroke. The left one likes to randomly dilate or constrict or do whatever the fuck it wants, so I'll often be sitting there in the daylight with my left eye dilated as hell and the right one just sitting there like normal.

blur/unblur my vision at will

Date: 2008-01-23 07:35 am (UTC)There's been times when I've thought something wasn't live, then when I put my hands near it, I get a strange feeling and I go "Hold on, that's live!" and it turns out it was indeed live.
Unfortunately, I tend to find most radio transmitters make me really uncomfortable, so I have to be rather careful about what cell phones or wifi tranceivers I use or else I'll get whopping great headaches.

Date: 2008-01-23 08:01 am (UTC)But yeah, I hadn't heard of that term before but that's a pretty good description of what I can do.
Needless to say, it rules out me ever working in high wattage electrical engineering. But I avoid that anyway because I'm rather accident prone.

*I don't know how common this is to most folk. My Dad sold a whole bunch of things, one of which was a vibrating massage gismo designed to stimulate blood flow.
