Actually, there will be no dollar bills under the Paul administration. He will abolish the Federal Reserve (or, should I say, the Federal ReJEW), and somehow let everyone exchange their rapidly-declining dollars for GOOOOOLD yet without any Government Handouts. Then, people could store their gold with banks which would issue their own paper currency, and the Free Market would determine which ones would be widely accepted. It would be sort of like how doctors have to accept insurance from a bunch of different providers and it's all totally nonstandard; the health insurance system, after all, is one of the world-famous triumphs of American capitalism.

Of course, you will be able to pay for goods and services directly with physical gold as well. It can be in any shape or form, of course, but I expect that coins inscribed with a picture of Ron Paul and the sentence "9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB" will be very popular. (On the other side of the coins, they'll have the smoking Twin Towers and the inscription "REPEAL THE 14TH AMENDMENT".) Therefore, their demand will increase sharply, thereby making them more valuable than other pieces of gold of equal weiOH SHIT
