What I love is when someone makes a LiveJournal post which showcases their maladaptive worldview just so perfectly. Like, it's about five different things and it reaches a wholly backwards conclusion about all of them, plainly revealing the poster's core issues while subtly hinting at other underlying ones. I should have a special bookmark folder for these.

In totally unrelated news, I am going to write a song wherein the lyrics consist of wrong ideas espoused by audiophile types who buy $1,000 power cables and reject all the core ideas of information theory, acoustics, digital electronics, and music. In honor of people on the Internet who think they've stumbled onto something groundbreaking when they prove a square wave with a fundamental of fN is not perfectly preserved by the sampling process, I will call it "Nyquist Hid the Facts".

I keep a list of LiveJournal posts exhibiting classic cognitive errors (as explained in David Burns' _Feeling Good_), myself.

Well, my friends are definitely as crazy as all humans are, but the wonderful thing is that everybody has a slightly different way of being bonkers :-)

*looks at tgies flist, sees that, barring something hidden by friends lock, a recent post of his is most likely the latest addition to said bookmark folder*
