so this post reminded me of A One Time: I was walking through a particularly bad neighborhood with a friend and some guys were just sitting on a porch with shotguns (blastin' musicjams) and it sucked because death looked kind of imminent but I couldn't help smiling at the absurdity of it all. besides it was way too nice outside to get gunned down (I used to live near DC the end)
