"Scream", the Last Great Michael Jackson Video, ripped off the DVD and rigged up so YouTube will show it in "HD": here (sound people: the synth-stabby pseudo-organ thing throughout — what is that? how do I replicate it? I like that damn sound)

A slideshow of bad photos I took at the zoo (I did this just to experiment with YouTube's HD thing): here

I think at the time I didn't appreciate how awesome the Scream video was (compared to other MJ videos, especially), but these days I totally get it. Thanks!

What kind of camera did you use son? Some of those were like National-Geographic quality. I want to go to the zoo and take pictures now.

This vid makes it look like it must have cost millions to have this video made, especially when you consider the time it came out.

I really enjoyed this, also good job on the quality of it, it sounds like it was difficult to get it to look that good, especially on fucking youtube.

7 million dollars. Most expensive music video ever made.

And yeah, actually, I had to noodle around for fucking ever to get YouTube to not play it at approximately half speed.
